My Story
1:Humble Beginnings to Bold Ambitions
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Andrea’s love for the stage began early, when she appeared alongside her father in a local production of She Stoops to Conquer. After relocating to the UK, she trained with the National Youth Theatre in Manchester, where her talent quickly shone through—landing the lead role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret during only her second year.
From there, Andrea’s passion for performance led her to a residency at Parkdean Resorts, followed by touring guest entertainer roles with Haven. These formative years on the road helped shape the quick-witted, versatile, and resilient performer she is today.
2:Training, Touring & Taking the Spotlight
Drawn to London’s creative energy at the turn of the millennium, Andrea earned her place at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Her wide vocal range, magnetic stage presence, and powerful performances soon secured her roles in musicals, national pantomimes, and touring productions across the UK.
Never one to sit still, Andrea also built a successful independent career—fronting both solo and group tribute acts, engaging in artist production and management, and continuing to grow as a multifaceted performer. Her talents were soon recognised by an international agent, opening the door to a global stage.
3:From High Seas to Hometown Stages
Andrea’s journey has taken her across the globe—from the Far East to the Caribbean, the Norwegian Fjords to the Mediterranean—performing aboard a vast range of cruise ships and captivating audiences worldwide.
Choosing to return to land and lay down roots, Andrea is now one of the UK’s most in-demand vocalists. Her career highlights include multiple album recordings, backing vocals for well-known artists, and supporting legends like The Four Tops at the iconic Blackpool Ballroom.
Most recently, Andrea has come full circle—stepping back into the world of local theatre, not only performing but also directing. Her latest return to the spotlight saw her play a principal role in five sold-out performances of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, proving that her passion for performance is stronger than ever.
